Clofi 100 Mgis most likely effective in women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), amenorrhea-galactorrhoea syndrome, psychogenic amenorrhoea, post-oral-contraceptive amenorrhoea and other secondary cases of amenorrhoea. Clofi 100 Mg is also used in treating male infertility by increasing spermatogenesis and is found effective in treating secondary male hypogonadism.
Clofi 100mg (Clomiphene) of the active ingredient Clomiphene citrate. Clofi 100 Mgis an anti-oestrogen which works by blocking the oestrogen receptors in the hypothalamus. Oestrogen sends negative feedback to the pituitary gland preventing it from releasing hormones that control the production and release of an egg. With blocked oestrogen receptors, the signals to the pituitary gland is stopped thereby increasing the hormones to stimulate the ovaries in making and releasing an egg for ovulation. Clofi 100 Mgdoes not immediately produce an ovulation but starts a chain reaction that leads to an ovulation.In addition to Clofi 100 Mg in treating infertility, properly timed sexual intercourse is also necessary.
