Low red blood cell count is termed as anemia. Cancer treatment with chemotherapy often causes many side effects, one of the major ones being anemia. Cresp 40 Injection stimulates the production of red blood cells in bone marrow and regulates the haemoglobin in the blood. This treats anemia in cancer patients receiving chemotherapy.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

• Abdominal pain
• High blood pressure
• Rash
• Injection site pain
• Breathlessness
• Cough
• Peripheral edema
• Procedural hypotension (low blood pressure)
• Convulsion
• Thromboembolism
• Angina (heart related chest pain)

Cresp 40 Injection is an erythropoiesis-stimulating agent (ESA). It works by stimulating the bone marrow (soft tissue inside the bones which produces red blood cells) to produce more red blood cells.
