What is it prescribed for?
Hypertension
Frusenex 100 MG Tablet is used alone or in combination with other medicines for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
Oedema
Oedema is swelling caused due to excess fluid build-up in your body’s tissues. It occurs most often in the legs, feet, and ankles but can affect other parts of the body. Frusenex 100 MG Tablet is used to reduce oedema associated with various medical problems, including heart, kidney, and liver disease.

Allergy
Avoid taking Frusenex 100 MG Tablet if you are allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.
Anuria
Anuria is a condition where the kidney is unable to produce urine. Frusenex 100 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in anuria as it may worsen your condition.

Take Frusenex 100 MG Tablet with or without food as instructed by your doctor. Do not break, chew, or crush the tablet.

Monitor your blood pressure regularly during treatment with Frusenex 100 MG Tablet.

Consult your doctor if you experience symptoms such as dizziness, tiredness, or muscle weakness that do not go away.

Take a potassium-rich diet (such as banana, spinach, coconut water, etc.), as Frusenex 100 MG Tablet can decrease your blood potassium levels and lead to dehydration.

Your doctor may suggest tests to monitor your kidney function during treatment with this medicine.
