Iverjohn 3 mg (Ivermectin)

• Iverjohn-3 Tablet is used in the treatment of parasitic infections [Strongyloidiasis (a threadworm infection), onchocerciasis (a worm infection)]. The detailed uses of Iverjohn-3 Tablet are as follows:
  • Treatment of parasitic infections: Iverjohn-3  Tablet is used to treat parasitic infections like strongyloidiasis and onchocerciasis, by targeting and eliminating the parasites that cause them.
  • Scabies treatment: Iverjohn-3 Tablet effectively treats scabies by targeting the mites that cause intense itching and skin irritation.
  • Lice infection: Iverjohn-3 Tablet treats head lice infection by killing both lice and eggs, especially when other treatments aren't effective.
  • Filariasis management: Iverjohn-3 Tablet is also utilized to manage lymphatic filariasis by targeting the filarial worms that can cause severe complications if left untreated.
  • Ectoparasitic infections: Iverjohn-3 Tablet treats ectoparasitic infections caused by parasites living on the skin or in hair, effectively by targeting external parasites

Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

• Iverjohn-3  Tablet is an anti-parasitic medication. It can kill the parasites by acting on the nervous system. It starves the worms by inducing paralysis, consequently leading them to death. In the case of strongyloidiasis, it kills the parasites present in the intestine, completely treating the infection. In the case of onchocerciasis, it can only control the infection as it can kill the developing worms but not the adult worms.
