Folitrax 20 Tablet works by slowing the growth of cancer cells in the body. It is used to treat a wide range of cancers, such as acute leukemias, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, and solid tumors found in the breast, lung, bladder, head, and neck, as well as cervical, ovarian, and testicular cancer. It may be given alone or in combination with other medicines.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Common side effects of Folitrax

• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Ulcerative stomatitis
• Decreased blood cells (red cells, white cells, and platelets)

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Folitrax 20 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Folitrax 20 Tablet inhibits enzymes (dihydrofolate reductase), prevents cell division, and leads to anti-inflammatory actions. Folitrax 20 Tablet kills cancer cells by preventing them from making DNA. Folitrax 20 Tablet can help control psoriasis by retarding the production of skin cells and suppressing inflammation. Folitrax 20 Tablet may treat rheumatoid arthritis by suppressing the immune system, preventing it from attacking the body's cells. This helps reduce the inflammation that causes swollen and stiff joints in rheumatoid arthritis or damage to the intestine in Crohn's disease.
