Tetanus is a serious bacterial infection that affects the nervous system and causes muscles throughout the body to become stiff and tighten. SII Q-VAC Vaccine helps prevent tetanus infection. It helps the immune system to produce antibodies to fight against tetanus infection. However, it does not provide lifelong protection. Children need to get a booster shot at 11 or 12 years of age. Adults need a booster shot every 10 years after that. It is advisable to consult your doctor for complete information regarding vaccination schedules

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

• Swelling
• Pain
• Fever
