When prostate gland becomes enlarged it can cause urinary problems, such as difficulty passing urine or need to go to the toilet frequently or urgently. It can also slow urine flow. If not treated, there is a risk that the urine flow can be completely blocked. Solitral Capsule ER is a combination of two medicines that reduces the size of the prostate by blocking the production of a hormone which causes it to grow. Additionally, it relaxes the muscles in the bladder and prostate. Together they can rapidly relieve the symptoms and make urination easier. However, it may take up to 6 months to notice the full benefits. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed for maximum benefits.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Solitral Capsule ER may be taken with or without food.

Solitral Capsule ER is a combination of two medicines: Alfuzosin and Solifenacin, which relieve the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia. Alfuzosin is an alpha-blocker while Solifenacin is an antimuscarinic. They work by relaxing the muscles around the bladder exit and prostate gland so that urine is passed more easily. This prevents frequent, urgent, or uncontrolled urination.
